See what I did there? Adventure. A business venture. A business adventure….
Never mind 😉
When I opened this store on October 1st, I just did it. I didn’t think through all the legalities and taxation things so I have spent the past 2 weeks playing catch up and goodness gracious it has been a lot but I think I am mostly caught up! AND I have been crafting my little fingers off every day, all day trying to make enough product so that I am fully stocked for the holiday season and… wait for it… my very first vendor show!! Super exciting, huh? On November 22, 2014 I will be in Rockwell City, Iowa at the Calhoun County fair grounds selling my newly made Christmas Decor and Gifts. I will have ornaments made of ribbon, glitter, and tissue paper flowers; antique silver spoons dipped in chocolate and crushed peppermint to stir in your hot cocoa; garland made of paper, feathers, and probably some with a little glitter; corn filled neck cozies to keep you warm on cold winter days; and lots more that I’m still in the process of creating. Anything left over after the craft fair will then be placed in my store – and there will be several products in my online store before hand – but not everything since I want to have enough for the craft show.
I want to take a minute to thank everyone who has already purchased something (Thanks, Mom!) and for all my friends and family who have donated time, tips, or products to help me create Joy Everlasting. BIG shout out to Emily Hildreth at Emily Hildreth Photography for creating my logo. You all need to go check out her amazing photography skills – and hey, you might occasionally see some props made by me! It pays having best friends with mad photo taking skills.
I hope I get to see you all at the vendor show or maybe you will stop by and see my brand new Facebook page. If you have any questions or just want to get in touch with me – feel free to email me at email@example.com
Thank you for sticking with me!
